When I received this yarn from Knit Picks I knew I had to knit with it right away. I've been wanting to make more knitted home items and some for my twins. I wanted a blanket to be super cozy and comfy. I decided to hold the Knit Picks Mighty Stitch double throughout the whole blanket which created an amazingly squishy fabric.
When I casted on the stitches I didn't expect to start a new design with it, but something just felt perfect and the pattern came flowing in.

Knit Picks Mighty Stitch is the perfect yarn having a blend of acrylic and wool. It's extremely SOFT!! It will keep you warm and is very affordable. I love knitting with yarns I know will last year and years and I don't have to worry about hand washing. This is the perfect blanket for my twins since I can put it both in the washer and dryer without worrying.

Want to use yarn from your own stash?!
This pattern is great for using up some of your already stashed yarns. You will need approximately 624 yards per colour in any worsted weight yarn. I do recommend you choose a yarn that is Superwash where you can place it in the washer. This will help you in the long run of not having to hand wash your blankets.
